We have always loved taking our dogs for long walks in nature, to let them run wild and free through the woods.
And our dogs have always loved getting dirty: Cora loves the water, whether it’s swimming in a lake, river, canal or just laying in a puddle, she doesn’t miss an opportunity to get soaking wet; Runa loves to play in the dirt and always finds a spot of smelly “stuff” to roll in (the smellier the better).
This meant that every time we came home from one of our walks, their collars or harnesses were dirty and smelly, and needed a proper wash in the washing machine. Their gear deteriorated quickly and often smelled anyway, despite frequent washing. In addition to the fact that our dogs would often remain damp and sometimes presented dermatitis.
We then discovered Biothane®, a waterproof, odor-proof, resistant material, and fell in love with it. But the products available to us weren’t very pretty and since style is just as important as comfort and conveniece, we decided to make our own dog gear.
And that’s how “the Zoomies” started, with the idea of offering stylish, practical and durable products to all those who love to see their dogs living their best life, “zooming” around in excitement, free to explore and, why not, get as dirty as they like. Because from now on you no longer need to worry about their wet, smelly gear. Just come home and rinse their collar and leash under warm water and that’s it, as good as new!
